Interpretation of the event of Miraj and the gift given to the Prophet on this occasion :
-According to the authentic narration ,the blessed body of the Prophet( peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) was taken to the world of awakening . First , he was made to ride on the Buraq. Hazrat Jibraeel was with him . He rode on the Buraq and set off from the Sacred Mosque .towards the Al Aqsa Mosque . He descended to the Al-Aqsa Mosque . There, he tied the Buraq to ring at the door of the
Mosque . He led the prophets in the Mosque . It is not correct to say that he landed in Bethlehem during this journey and prayed there too. Then , that same night, he was taken from Bethlehem to the heaven of the world. Hazrat Jibraeel demanded that the door be opened for him. So he demanded that the door opened. So both of them were allowed to go up. In the first heaven, he saw Hazrat Adam replied with salaam and Marhaba and also acknowledged his prophethood. Then, he was taken to the second heaven and demanded that the door be opened from him. There he met Hazrat Yahya and Hazrat Esa . He greeted them. They returned the greeting and allowed him go to up. He said, "Welcome "and acknowledged your prophethiood . Then He saw Hazrat Yusuf . Hazrat Yusuf greeted him and said, "Welcome ," and continued his ascension to the third heaven.He acknowledged his prophethood , then he was taken to the fourth heaven , where he saw Hazrat Address .Hazrat Adrees greeted him and said, "Welcome" He also acknowledged his prophethood . From there, he was taken to the sixth heaven ,
where he met Hazrat moses. He also greeted him and said, "Welcome ."He also acknowledge his prophethood . When he stsrted to move on from there ,Hazrat Mosa began to cry . He was asked what was throe reason for his crying .He replied ,"I cried because a young man has been sent after me ,and his community will go to paradise in greeter number than my community. "Then He was taken to the seventh heaven , were He met Hazrat Abraham .He greeted him and said, "Welcome. "He also cknowledgedhood his prophethood , then he was taken to Sidrat al - Muntahi, Were Bait al - Ma'mur was presented to him, from there he was taken to Allah , about two bows' lenght or less , and there Allah reveal . He also made fifty prayers obligatory upon him . He returned to Hazrat Musa and he asked him what he had been commanded to do. He said , Fifty prayers. Hazrat Musa said , "Your nation is not capable of that. You should return to your Lord and ask for a reduction for your nation." He looked at Gabriel as if he were seeking his advice , So Hazrat Gabriel advised him that it was correct . If you wish , then Hazrat Jibraeel took you to this place of Allah Jahar (the words from the Bukhari ). (Some narration say that Allah forgive ten prayers,then he descended , passed by Hazrat Musa and told him. Hazrat Musa advised him to go back and ask for a reduction . So he kept going back and forth between Hazrat Musa and Allah until there were five prayers left . Still Hazrat Musa advised him to go back and asked him to ask for a reduction . On this he said, I am ashamed of my Lord , now I express my consent and accept it. When the implementation of this command was complete , the preacher preached , I have imposed My obligation and have reduce it for my servants.
