Quality of friendship👫💗:
:عن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه، عن النبي ﷺ قال
"لا تُصَاحِبْ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنًا، وَلاَ يَأْكُلْ طَعَامَكَ إِلَّا تَقِيٌّ"
" So take a believer as your companion , and eat your food only from the pious "
A person who makes a friend and companion agrees to sit ,eat ,and drink with him ,which result in his habits and characteristics being unconsciously instilled in him ,and the person gradually becomes colored by his color . If his friend in an alcoholic , then gradually the habits of drinking alcohol will attract him and he too will becomes an alcoholic by staying in his company.
If the partner is virtuous and pure , his habits of goodness will be ingrained in him and will gradually make him virtuous as well.
The Holy Prophet said:
" Do not take anyone as your companion or friend except a believer "
If you make a non Muslim your friend, you risk losing the wealth of your faith. It has been said in the same way : " Feed your food only to the pious "
Therefore ,a good person will pray for you after eating .If the prayer accepted , your fortune will be opened. Serving good people will be rewarded. Nowadays ,people invite each other out of friendship and closeness ,but they do not invite a pious person because of his piety.
Friendship is a gift from Allah .Friendship should always be with good people .
The Holy Prophet said:
" Every one of you is on the religion of his friend ,so let him look at whom he is befriending."
